First Preemie Outfit

Baby GL got his bath last night.  He did really well through his bath. I think he's getting used to it and enjoys it.  The nurse took bath time as a sign to help Baby GL with a little constipation.  A simple movement like pressing his knees to his chest and telling him to pretend he was sitting on the toilet seemed to do the trick.  He really let loose which made us all so happy.  After waiting 15 hours for a dirty diaper we were thrilled.  It's one of those times that all the nurses at to be witness to and they were just as excited as I was.

After his bath we got him dressed in his first outfit.  Of course it is way too big for him but it made it easy to slip it on from his feet up.  He seemed to like being dressed.  I think he enjoys the swaddling feel and in a gown his legs stay cozy inside like being swaddled.

Today was a day of seconds.  My husband got to swaddle Baby GL for the second time.  He enjoyed just being held and having that attention. After, my husband changed his second diaper.  He has to learn to move faster, though.  Once that cold air hits Baby GL can't hold it.  The nurse had just put down clean blankets so it was a little amusing to know she had to change them again.  It's wonderful to be laughing a lot when we visit the hospital.  It's a much better feeling.
