Happy St. Patrick's Day! Not much to update today. Baby GL is doing the same. I cannot believe how wonderful the nursing staff is at the hospital. They take such good care of Baby GL and all the babies. They even celebrate the holidays with the babies.
Now that he is opening both eyes it's so great to see his expressions. He has such a personality now. He had one before but now he really puts on a show. Even down to his face that he makes when you know he wants to be crying but he can't because he has a tube in his mouth.
Our hope and goal for the week is to kangaroo Baby GL on Friday when they change out his condo. With his feisty attitude anything can change by then, but we hope he will behave himself.
I'm not sure I mentioned Baby GL's weight lately. As of Saturday he was 450 grams, about 1lb even. We weighed him again last night at he was at 400 grams, about 14oz. He may be bouncing around in his weight, but I'm happy it's back up the 400's again. We can actually see in his coloring that he has really grown into his skin better and he seems to be bigger. It's hard to imagine what he'll be like at 5lbs.
